Suzanne Mallery Erikson, 85, formerly of Dillsburg, PA went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
Born on February 26, 1939 in Newton, New Jersey, she was the beloved daughter of the late Kenneth and Martha (Miller) Mallery. She was preceded in death by her husband Neill G. Erikson.
A member of Dillsburg Brethren in Christ Church, Suzanne served as Deacon and was active in the children's ministry and nursery.
Suzanne was a true embodiment of selflessness, embodying the love and teachings of Christ in everything she did, always putting the needs of others before her own. She humbly dedicated her life to caring for her family, friends, and community, offering her time, love, and spiritual wisdom to anyone who needed it. She was actively involved with Child Evangelism Fellowship for many years and was passionate about volunteering to support staff and residents at Messiah Lifeways. Suzanne worked tirelessly to support causes close to her heart, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of many.
Suzanne’s love for the Lord was evident in every aspect of her life, and her legacy of faith and service will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed by all who experienced her kindness, spiritual wisdom, and unwavering faith. We take comfort in the knowledge that Suzanne is now in the loving arms of her Savior.
She is survived by her four sons, Keith M. Erikson (Kelly) of Greensboro, NC, Jeffrey S. Erikson (Beth) of New Cumberland, James N. Erikson (Ai Leng) of Philadelphia, Mark A. Erikson (Lorie) of York; and six grandchildren, Dylan, Arlo, Samuel, Eli, Klara, and Jack.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 11:00 am in her church, Dillsburg Brethren In Christ Church, 18 East Harrisburg Street, Dillsburg, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Suzanne.
