Sylvan "Butch" Lee Stoner, 81, of Dillsburg, PA died after a long battle with cancer on Monday, November 18, 2024.
He is survived by his wife Annette (Esterline) Stoner; his son, Foster Stoner and his wife; and grandchildren, Heather Stoner and Kyle Hamilton, Foster L. Stoner and wife Samantha, Hannah Stoner and Anthony Stoner.
He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbert L. Stoner and Ethel (Williams) Stoner; siblings Junella Wehler, Isabelle Lehman and Wilbert E. Stoner.
Butch was born on February 11, 1943, in Dillsburg, PA and retired from Roadway Express after thirty-four years of service and then worked part-time at the PA State Farm Show. He farmed, loved antique cars, NASCAR, motorcycles, and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 11:00 am with a visitation from 10-11 am at Cedar Hill Baptist Church, 154 Chestnut Grove Road, Dillsburg, PA.
A reception will follow the service at the church. All are encouraged to attend the service and reception. Food is being catered by Piccolo Eatery of Lititz, PA.
