Theodore "Ted" W. Eppley, 73, of Dillsburg, PA passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025, at The Gardens of West Shore, Camp Hill, PA.
He was born January 16, 1952, in Johnstown, PA the son of the late Richard Earl Eppley, Jr. and Freda June (Oldham) Eppley.
Ted was an electrician by trade and was a member of the IBEW Local 143, Harrisburg.
He served his country in the U.S. Army-82nd Airborne Unit during the Vietnam War.
He was a former volunteer with the Boy Scouts Troop 90 and he enjoyed birdwatching, hunting, fishing, and working on his punch bug and loved his truck.
Ted is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Nola Lynn (Waltman) Eppley; one daughter, Lona M. Sealover (Steven) of Dillsburg; one son, Steven R. Eppley (Athena) of New Cumberland; four siblings, Linda Myers (Randy) of Summerhill, Donald Eppley (Karen) of Sidman, Deborah Gurish (Frank) of Mechanicsburg, Robert Eppley of Middleburg; his brother-in-law, Michael Barefoot of Boiling Springs; and six grandchildren, Rachel and Barry Sealover, Adam, Anthony, Audrey, and Anastasia Eppley. Ted was preceded in death in addition to his parents by a sister, Barbara Barefoot.
Services will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 11:30 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, PA. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 am at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
