Thomas Arthur Lucas, Sr., 82, of East Berlin, PA passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at his home.
He was born August 23, 1942, in Franklintown, PA the son of the late Clyde H. and Lena (Cleaver) Lucas.
Tom retired as a Laboratory Technician for PennDot.
He was a member of Lake View Christian Fellowship, East Berlin and was strong in his faith and taught Sunday School for many years. Tom was also a former member of the Dillsburg Lions Club. He was also a Runner and Weight Lifter, and a Gettysburg Historian.
He enjoyed building model airplanes and boats, loved football, especially the Indianapolis Colts, Baseball, and enjoyed being active and staying physically fit. He enjoyed boxing and softball and coached youth football and baseball for Northern.
Tom is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sandra A. (Risoldi) Lucas; three children, Thomas A. Lucas, Jr. (Sandy) of Dillsburg, Sherry Kay Thomas (Gary) of East Berlin, Lesa L. Kennedy (Matthew) of Dillsburg; three step-children, John W. Meyers (Kimberly) of Dillsburg, Robert W. Meyers (Heather) of East Berlin, Sonda Jo Kunzi (Werner) of Chardon, OH; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death along with his parents by his brother Clyde H. Lucas, Jr.
Services will be held Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 11:30 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, PA. A visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00-11:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Dillsburg Cemetery-Golf Course Road.
