Thomas Donley Mitchell, 74, of East Berlin, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at the U.P.M.C.- Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born January 26, 1947, in Oxon Hill, MD, the son of the late Charles G. and Mable (Kramer) Mitchell .
Don served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a retired maintenance technician and a former licensed minister for the South Pennsylvania District of the Church of the Brethren. Don was a former member of the Lakeview Christian Fellowship and is currently a member of the Daybreak Church in Mechanicsburg where he was a former Elder. He was a member of the East Berlin V.F.W. and enjoyed teaching Bible studies, being a prayer warrior and being a great mechanic.
Don is survived by his wife, Pamela J. (Diefendorff) Mitchell; two daughters, Carolyn Geedy (Junior), Deanne Hall (Todd); two sons, Bradley Davis, David Foust, Jr. (Tina); a brother, John "Jack" Mitchell (Charlene); and five grandchildren, Justin Erb, Seth Davis, Kim Butler, Brandon and Brian Foust. Don was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Joseph "Joe" Mitchell.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 11:30 am at Daybreak Church, 321 Gettysburg Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA.
