Thomas Edward Rothenberger, 85, of Dillsburg, PA passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at his home.
He was born March 21, 1940, in Harrisburg, PA the son of the late Richard K. and Jane D. (Kyper) Rothenberger.
Thomas was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School, attended the Police Academy and studied at Paul Smith's College, where he studied to be a chef.
He worked at various professions over the years including working in law enforcement with the Harrisburg City and Lower Paxton Township Police Departments, as an Executive Chef, Truck Driver and Auctioneer.
Thomas enjoyed working on models, golfing, fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Kay (Myers) Rothenberger; seven children, Tammie Crea of Harrisburg, Vickie Soule (Howie) of Duncannon, Thomas Rothenberger, Jr. (Sheila) of Palmyra, Robert Rothenberger (Loni) of Harrisburg, Tonda White (Harry) of Harrisburg, Terri Taylor (Tad) of Newville, Joseph Yontz (Cathy) of Dover; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law Ruth Rothenberger of Vermont and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisburg at the convenience of the family.
