Thomas N. Shoffner, 72, of Lewisberry went home to be with his heavenly father on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at the U.P.M.C. Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born July 27, 1949, in Carlisle the son of the late Ernest and Margaret (Knaub) Shoffner.
Tom was retired from the Navy Depot in Mechanicsburg and he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a devout Christian and attended the Mountain Ridge Church, Dillsburg. Tom enjoyed hunting and watching all kinds of animals including squirrels and deer in his back yard and woodworking.
He was a loving husband and Pop Pop and is survived by his wife Nancy L. (Rutter); two sons, Keri M. Shoffner (Amanda) of Stowe, Brett A. Shoffner (Kayce) of Stewartstown; two brothers, Linden Shoffner and Joey Shoffner, both of Dillsburg; and four grandchildren, Clayton, Avery, Levi, and Olive.
Services will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 10-11 am at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Lewisberry.
