Timothy Charles McCoy, 67, of Dillsburg passed away Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026, at his home.
He was born January 19th, 1959, in Erie, PA the son of the late Mahlon and Carol (DuShole) McCoy.
Tim was a graduate of Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, class of 1976 and then attended Bucks County Community College and Harrisburg Area Community College and then went on to worked a majority of his life in the HVAC industry.
He was a member of the Dillsburg American Legion Post #109 and its Legion Riders, South Mountain V.F.W. Post #6771 in Dillsburg.
Tim enjoyed auto racing, playing hockey along with refereeing, working in his garage and welding various projects, and watching his Philadelphia sports teams including the Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers
Tim is survived by his wife Joann (Strohecker) McCoy; his siblings, Lance M. McCoy (Cindy) of Dillsburg, Mahlon M. McCoy (Fiona) of Ireland, Tammy R. Sanfilippo of Meadville; his nieces and nephews, Melanie Brown, Sean McCoy, Shane McCoy, Roisin McCoy, Lilah McCoy; several cousins, grand nieces and grand nephews, numerous friends including his best friend Kurt Pealer (Lisa), his speakeasy family, and his beloved corgi Sunshine named after one of his favorite race car drivers. Tim was preceded in death by his brother Randy McCoy.
Services will be held Saturday, February 14th, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Celebration Community Church, 1048 South Mountain Rd., Dillsburg, PA . A visitation will be held from 10-11 am prior to the service.
