Todd Alan Hobby, 48, passed away on Saturday, May 27th at his parents’ home with them by his side.
Todd was born on September 13, 1974 in East Hartford, Connecticut, to Alan and Deborah Hobby.

He graduated from Cumberland Valley High School where he was a member of the varsity baseball team. Todd went on to play baseball at Frederick College and then continued his outstanding career with a year of Independent Pro Baseball with the Johnstown Johnnies.

He devoted his time to coaching and watching them follow in his footsteps with softball and baseball. He coached Milez’s youth baseball teams and Izabella’s travel softball team, Polar Elite, where he was the head coach for five successful seasons. His passion was making sure his children were able to experience the best things in life. He enjoyed traveling with his family and winter weekends on the ski slopes as well as watching sports, especially his beloved Green Bay Packers and UConn Huskies. Todd was also an avid griller, often enjoying cooking for his family and friends.
