Virginia A. (Stoner) Wolf

Virginia A. Wolf, 94, formerly of Dillsburg passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Green Ridge Village in Newville, PA.

   She was born September 13, 1929, in Bowmansdale, PA the daughter of the late John and Mable (Humes) Stoner.

   Virginia was the widow of George W. Wolf.

   She was a member of Hope United Methodist Church, Mechanicsburg. Virginia helped her husband in his construction business wherever needed and enjoyed word searches, puzzles, gardening and traveling. 

   She is survived by her son, Gary L. Wolf and his wife Jackie of Carlisle; her daughter-in-law, Maggie Shenk of Mechanicsburg; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Virginia was preceded in death by her son, Ronald E. Wolf; her sister, Dorothy Myers; and her brother,  John Stoner.

   Memorial services will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 10:30 am in Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, PA. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am-10:30 am prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA.

   In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Green Ridge Village Benevolent Fund, 210 Big Spring Rd., Newville, PA 17241 or the Heartland Hospice, 1200 Walnut Bottom Rd., Carlisle, PA 17015.    .
