William John Lord, 64, of Wellsville, PA passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at his home.
He was born May 22, 1961, in Pottsville, PA the son of the late Maurice Robert and Veronica (Kasinecz) Lord.
Bill was a retired project manager and was a member of the Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church.
Bill's passion has always been teaching. He loved to teach dancing, aerobics and mostly he loved to teach the word of God. He had such a heart for people and wanted all to experience the peace and joy he felt from his relationship with Jesus Christ. His last words to a very dear friend were "one more soul" which truly encompassed his passion for all to know the LORD.
He is survived by his wife Tammy D. (Palmer) Lord; three children, Crystal N. Rife (J.R.) of Mechanicsburg, Amanda M. Clouse (Justin) of Mechanicsburg, Ben E. Staub (Jessica) of Gulfport, MS; an accepted son, Dalton McDiffit of Dillsburg; one brother, Richard Lord of Pottsville; one sister, Michele Hummer of Lebanon; thirteen grandchildren, Eryk, Draven, Jonathan, Kody, Nathaniel, Kiersten, Zoey, Hannah, Dylan, Zachary, James, Matthew, Allison; and one great-grandchild, Kiana.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 19th, 2025, at 1:00 pm in his church, Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church, 1050 S. York Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Visitation with the family will be held at the conclusion of the service.
