William M. Shaffer

William M. Shaffer,  age 73, of Wellsville died on Sunday morning, June 22nd, 2025 at home.

   He was born on Friday, July 20th, 1951, in Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, the son of the late James W.  and Betty L. (Weber) Shaffer. William was a graduate of  Cumberland Valley High School.

   William was a retired Counter Associate for NAPA Auto Parts, Carlisle and had also worked for the former M&C Foreign Auto Parts, Mechanicsburg.

   William is survived by his loving wife, Cathy J. (Boise) Shaffer.  His daughter, Sharon E. Beck and her husband, Andrew, of Ft. Riley, KS.  His step-son, Jason Garner, of Boiling Springs, SC and his step-daughter, Nancy Garner, of Wellsville.  His granddaughters, Emma Beck, Mavis Beck, Ashton Beck and his Step-grandson, Dalton Garner.  Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Sharon Hoffman.    

   There will be no services at William's request.
