Obituary
Alexander D. Hobson, 25, of Dillsburg passed away Monday, January 16, 2023, as the result of a workplace accident.
He was born November 9, 1997, in Lapeer, MI the son of Karen D. (White) Hobson of Dillsburg.
Alex was a graduate of Northern High School, Class of 2018 and was a member of the football team. He enjoyed working road construction.
Alex was a member of the American Motor Association and enjoyed riding dirt bikes. He especially enjoyed spending time with his son as well as his family and friends.
Alex is survived in addition to his mother Karen by three siblings, Jessica A. Brooks and her husband James Burd of Cape Coral, FL, Richard "Bud" Lazewski of Midlothian, VA, Hailey M. Hobson of Dillsburg; his maternal grandmother, Marlene McDade of Cape Coral, FL; his fiancée, Kimberly D. West of Dillsburg; his two sons, Silas G. Hobson of Dillsburg and Aiden West of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews including Patience Brooks, Peyton Brooks and aunts, uncles, and cousins. Alex was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Douglas A. McDade.
Services will be held Monday, January 23, 2023, at 7:00 pm in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, PA. A viewing will be held Monday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
